More Palestinians killed in new round of Israeli strikes
Three Palestinians have been killed and several others wounded as Israel carried out a series of air strikes across Gaza.
Two people were killed and others injured when Israeli warplanes struck a tent sheltering displaced people in the al-Qadisiya area, west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, local sources told the Wafa news agency.
In central Gaza’s Deir el-Balah, a woman identified as Ibtisam Khaled Dawas was shot and killed by an Israeli sniper inside her home in the Bishara neighbourhood.
Sources also reported casualties from the Shaat family after their home was hit in Khan Younis. Ambulance crews have struggled to reach the site because of ongoing bombardment, Wafa said.
