The Palestinian Authority condemned U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to lift sanctions on illegal Israeli settlers accused of violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for the Palestinian Authority, criticized the move and stated, "This decision encourages settlers to commit more crimes". He called on the new U.S. administration to intervene and put an end to these actions, which he believes undermine peace and security in the area.
